Hand-Woven Repurposed Rug

Created exclusively for the Whitney Shop by Sleepy Hollow Rag Rugs, these repurposed rugs are made from the Andy Warhol Self-Portrait T-shirts that were developed for the Andy Warhol — From A to B and Back Again exhibition.

Diane O'Brien, along with her daughter-in-law Tracee O'Brien have been producing hand-woven rugs out of their home of Lincolnville, Maine since 1985.

Each rug is approximately 24" x 39" with slight variations in size.
