Whitney Biennial 2017 artist, Dani Leventhal explores the connections of decay and renewal as well as the sacredness of the mundane through film. Videoworks Volume 1 is comprised of six pieces, each standing alone to examine the ambiguous emotions through montage that is unstructured and lyrically sentimental to achieve a feeling of transcending the commonplace.
