Commemorating the procession by 2017 Whitney Biennial artist, Cauleen Smith and a crowd of participants, this vibrant blue colored LP is a recording of the 2 poems spoken during the program. Smith created quilted banners inspired by videos of police brutality against black people. Side A feautres avery r young and Tina M. Howell as they lead choir rehearsal in preparation for the procession. Side B is a live recording of the In The Wake Procession that took place on April 11, 2017.
