Details

To celebrate Bernardaud's 150th anniversary, Jeff Koons made a series of beautiful, limited edition porcelain objects with the famed porcelain maker in Limoges, France. The collection includes a vase, a serving platter, decorative plates, dinner plates, and cup/saucer sets. All of the objects are packaged in presentation boxes and crafted from the same fine, glazed porcelain. The dinnerware is dishwasher safe but, not microwaveable.

Fine Limoges porcelain manufactured in France. Bisque outside, glazed inside. Limited Edition 3500. Signed and numbered. Height: approx. 15 inches, Depth: approx. 13 inch, Width point of handle to handle: approx. 17 inch. Flowers not included.

Jeff Koons is widely regarded as one of the most important, influential, popular, and controversial artists of the postwar era. Throughout his career, he has pioneered new approaches to the readymade, tested the boundaries between advanced art and mass culture, challenged the limits of industrial fabrication, and transformed the relationship of artists to the cult of celebrity and the global market.
