Mary Heilmann is known for vibrant paintings that marry taut abstract forms with quivering line and vivid color. The Whitney holds several Heilmann pieces in its collection and inaugurated its largest outdoor gallery with her project in 2015 Mary Heilmann: Sunset. In the 1990's Mary Heilmann created several silkscreened fabrics at The Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia. One of the fabrics has now inspired this scarf which was made in Italy, and produced by Paul Marlow, especially for the Whitney.

Material: 100% cotton voile, with rolled edges. 27.50 X 78.75 inches. Hand made in Italy.
